AI CAD: a working DWG from a photo, a sketch or words

Most AI CAD tools show you a nice picture. Horezmi gives you the file: a DWG that opens in AutoCAD with walls, doors, dimensions and text as real objects on their own layers. Start from what you have, a phone photo, a scan, a hand sketch or a description, and change the result by saying what is wrong.

How it works

  1. 01

    Start from what you have

Upload a photo, a scan, a PDF or a sketch with sizes, or describe the job in words. Say what it is if the picture does not make it clear.

  2. 02

AI reads it, code draws it

The AI works out what is on the page: walls, openings, rooms, parts and sizes. Then code builds the geometry, so lines are exact and sit on proper layers at real scale.

  3. 03

    Change it in plain words

Type "make the kitchen 4 m wide", or click an object and enter a number. The new version opens in the same place.

A real example

A page of a 1940 house catalogue: a five-room Cape Cod plan drawn in perspectiveSent
The same house as a floor plan on sheet A-101 with grid lines and dimensionsCame out
A real run: a page of a 1940 catalogue in, a dimensioned sheet out, with no retouching.

What you get

  • DWG for AutoCAD and DXF for other CAD programs, with layers
  • A PDF sheet to scale with a title block
  • A 3D model of the building or part
  • Floor plans, site plans, machine parts, tanks and CNC contours

What Horezmi does not do

  • It is a draft made by AI. Check the dimensions before you build or order anything.
  • It does not replace an engineer: it does not calculate structures or check building codes.
  • It is not a live plugin inside AutoCAD. You work in the browser and open the DWG in your CAD program.

Questions

Is the result a real CAD file or a picture?

A real DWG or DXF. Lines, text and dimensions are objects you can select and edit, on separate layers.

Do I need AutoCAD?

Not to make the drawing, it runs in the browser. You need a CAD program to open and edit the DWG afterwards, and a PDF sheet comes with it.

What can it draw?

Floor plans, site plans, machine parts, tanks and contours for CNC cutting, from a picture, a sketch with sizes or a description.

What does it cost?

The first $5 are free when you sign in. A typical house plan costs about $1–2 and there is no subscription.
